Tax Manager (part-time, 0.6 fte)

Our team in Amsterdam is looking for a part-time colleague who will support the Anthos Head of Estate Planning in all relevant areas of taxation (income taxes, gift & inheritance taxes and wage taxes). It is a broad supporting role which provides an opportunity for development in a wide range of tax areas.

The role
Our team in Amsterdam is looking for a part-time colleague who will support the Anthos Head of Estate Planning in all relevant areas of taxation (income taxes, gift & inheritance taxes and wage taxes). It is a broad supporting role which provides an opportunity for development in a wide range of tax areas.

Main responsibilities
• All tax related support tasks and administrative work;
• Preparing and reviewing gift tax returns and preparing inheritance tax returns;
• Preparing advice on individual income tax questions as well as preparing gift, inheritance and estate planning advice;
• Advising on the tax-related aspects of financial planning;
• Occasionally attending meetings with clients / family members;
• Liaising and interacting with tax colleagues on matters of mutual interest (know-how sharing, exchanging learnings);
• Actively participating in internal consultation groups and informing Client Advisors, other colleagues and family members about relevant changes.
Skills and experience
• Academic background (master degree in tax law, fiscal economics) or Register Belastingadviseur

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in a consultancy/advisory firm or as an in-house tax specialist
• Broad interest in individual taxation, experience in individual tax areas
• You need to display good communication and listening skills, take initiative, be solution oriented, demonstrate autonomy and sound judgment, with a high level of integrity and commitment to high quality standards.
• Fluent in English and Dutch
